Plot:
The movie which follows the new generation narrative pattern has mainly 3 plots of stories happening in the lives of Manu Krishna (Fahadh Fazil), who reaches Cochin to make 75 lakhs for saving his wife (Isha Talwar) from police custody, Advocate Mathan Tharakan (Sreenivasan), who is on his way to the court for his final appearance for the Rakhi molestation case, and Muhammed (Lal), a taxi driver craving for 6 lakhs to save his daughters life. The plot of Gods Own Country moves through these three phases which happens on a single day.
Positives:
The storyline is filled with lot of twists and turns which keep the viewers glued to the seat.
Though the first half of the movie gives minimal impression, the second half turns out to be the saving grace of movie.
Performances from the lead pair including Fahad, Sreenivsan, Lal, Lena, Lakshmipriya, Isha, Mythili, Nandhu, Sudheer Karamana are convincing.
Action sequences are well taken.
The movie carries some socially relevant messages.
